Update jailbreAk 4s

A few days ago I ordered a 4s. I will expect it will arrive in 1 maybe 2 weeks. Now I’m in a predicament. A brand new 4s and no jailbreak. How can I go public with it. An iPhone without an jailbreak really isn’t an iPhone I think. Maybe I will let my girl use it until the jailbreak comes out. A tethered will be fine.

So you can imagine my hearth just skipped a beat when MuscleNerd posted a tweat of a 4s running Cydia. It’s not quite ready for public release. But hey I have got 2 weeks left.

iOS 5 GM jailbreak

So if you don’t want to wait for the official release of iOS 5 on october 12th. You can now download iOS 5 GM (Gold master). This version doesn’t need developer id checks, you can go ahead and just install it. The likelihood that the GM version will be different from the final release is very small.

The GM version can be jailbroken. But it’s a tethered one. So every time you have to boot. You’re iDevice needs to connect it to your pc/mac to boot. The best tool around at the moment is RedSnOW.

Thought ‘bout doin’ it. But I wait it out till an untethered jailbreak is released. Hope they have an untethered 1 ready so that on the 12th it will be released simultaneously with iOS 5

iOS 5 Beta 7, Apple’s new attemp at censorship

Just two weeks after the last beta release Apple are already allowing developers to get their hands on the latest edit of iOS 5 Beta 7.

By the time Apple get to version 7 of their products it usually means that its nearly good to go. Version 7 of the iOS, however, seems still to be riddled with problems according to comments left on various sites. I been using the the beta 5 when it first came out.

Just upgraded to 5.7. When trying to spice up my lockscreen I got the above notification from Apple. I tried different pictures. It’s the next attempt by Apple at censorship. I certainly hope that this feature won’t make it into the final release.

iPhone 5 Launching in Second Week of September? iPad 3 Later?

The China Times pinpoints the iPhone 5 release to the second week of September with an initial order of 4 million units. Suppliers are said to be currently preparing 400,000 trial run units. The news report also reports that the next iPad may be delayed until Thanksgiving due to component shortages.

A mid September launch lines up nicely with current expectations for the iPhone 5 release. Apple has held an iPod media event in September for the past 3 years. With no iPhone release during this year’s WWDC, Apple is expected to include the iPhone launch at this September event alongside the public release of iOS 5.

There’s been some debate about what features the iPhone 5 will include. Recently leaked case designs have shown some major design changes, while other sources have said the iPhone 5 will look largely like the iPhone 4.

The China Times has had a hit or miss record with Apple-related rumors, though they do seem close to Apple’s suppliers in China and may certainly have knowledge of their production plans. Reuters had previously also reported the iPhone 5 would see a September release with production beginning in July.

Yeah I know, you fucking Americans always get stuff cheap. At your end you’ll pay $4.99. WTF you might think it’s the same price. When using the current exchange rate you would pay a whoping $ 7.18. So in Europe we always pay more so U buggers can buy stuff cheap.

Some things I just don”t understand ‘bout Apple. They want to keep it elegant, just plain simple. But at times they are completely stubborn when it comes to the obvious.

Why is it that when you reach the end of your springboard pages you’ve got to go back and not just loop it. Why can’t we just do that ?

Apple Releases iOS 4.3.4 witH Fix for JailbreakMe

Apple just released iOS 4.3.4 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This update is now available in iTunes and has been released to fix the PDF exploit. So no more Jailbreakme if you update.

So all you Jailbreakers be WARNED, don’t update.
